  • It’s All About Providing a High Level of Customer Service at our Birmingham Depot

    With branches around the UK from Airdrie to Rugby, being able to provide a high level of service to local customers is crucial at Seddons (Plant & Engineers) Ltd. Our branch at Perry Barr, Birmingham, is headed up by Manager Spencer Lyon, who places great emphasis on providing first class customer service – a philosophy which is paying off as customer satisfaction levels have reached an impressive 97%.

    Spencer joined the Seddons Plant team some three and a half years ago when he was actually a Seddons customer with his own business selling plant machinery spares.

    Including Spencer, there are seven members of staff working at the Birmingham branch. Three in Sales Support roles – Joe Richards, Tony Stanley and Spencer’s son Aidan Lyon – and another Father and Son team in the form of Workshop Technician Roger Bridge and Workshop Controller/Technician Mark Bridge. The team is completed with Driver Seamus Flynn who also performs a host of other duties.

    Spencer said: “We’ve got a great team at our branch on Walsall Road, Perry Barr, and we all enjoy the challenge of working in a busy environment. The trade counter and showroom form a huge part of our business and with one of the busiest counters across the whole of the Group, we have constant footfall so providing great customer service is a key factor.”
